Richard Wilson Administration

 Principal - Elda Gonzalez

Mrs. Gonzalez started her long career as an educator with the Fort Worth Independent School District more than 30 years ago. For the last 22 years, she has worked as a principal, both in Elementary and Middle Schools. Her enthusiasm for learning and her love of children prompted her to come back from retirement to serve as the instructional leader here at Wilson Elementary. Mrs. Gonzalez utilizes an " Open Door" policy and a team-approach in her leadership style. She believes that children's needs come first and that the use of student assessment data is essential for individual academic growth.

Mrs. Gonzalez has a Bachelor of Education Degree from Texas Woman's University in Elementary Education with a specialization in Reading. She has a Master's in Bilingual Education and a Mid. Management Certification in School Administration and Supervision.

 Assistant Principal - Angeles Gonzalez-Rosas

My name is Angeles Gonzalez-Rosas and I am the Assistant Principal here at Richard J. Wilson Elementary. I have been in education for fifteen years where I have served as a bilingual teacher, educational diagnostician, and assistant principal. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman’s University. I later earned  my Master’s of Education degree from the University of North Texas and continued my post graduate studies at the University of Texas at Arlington and earned my principal certification in 2001. I consider it a great opportunity to be able to work with your children. I enjoy talking to each one of our students in the cafeteria, in the hall, and in their classrooms as they work diligently on their classroom assignments and activities.

At Richard J. Wilson Elementary, we, “the Dream Team,” strive to meet the instructional needs of all of our students. The teachers and staff at R.J. Wilson Elementary take our jobs seriously and work very hard to meet the needs of all students. Parents, I hope that you take the time to come meet with your child’s teacher and stay involved in your child’s education. Together, the R.J. Wilson Dream Team and you will make sure that your child gets the quality education he/she deserves
