3 week Progress Reports are being sent home this week.

For Fort Worth ISD students, this week marks the middle of the first six weeks grading period. And it is a good time for parents to find out how their students are doing.

Sometime this week, students will receive from their teachers a written progress report. This report is supposed to be brought home for parents to review. For parents, this is a good time to start asking their children about the progress report.

Progress reports may be issued to track a student's performance in between report cards. They are typically issued at the midpoint of a grading period, (for example: 4½ weeks into a nine-week grading period, or three weeks into a six-week grading period) and contain essentially the same information as the report card. These reports allow students and their parents to see if their students performance is slipping and if intervention is required to bring up the grade.
