Fort Worth ISD is committed to making every second, cent and connection count when it comes to the education of our students.
The 2010-2011 Annual Report underscores that responsibility in a condensed, contemporary format that is both informative and fun to read. The report includes a fold-out highlighting a typical day at Fort Worth ISD and lets numbers and photographs tell the stories of achievement and growth across our District.
To trim costs and save natural resources, Fort Worth ISD has reduced the number of printed reports and, for the third year, put the Annual Report online. >> Access it now.
The District also recently reported on the success of the 2007 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) in a presentation to the Combined Area Council Membership of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce.
The CIP was a $593.6 million bond package overwhelmingly approved by voters. In the presentation, Interim Superintendent Walter Dansby highlighted the District’s commitment to transparency in all phases of the construction and renovation effort. Chamber members were treated to a short video highlighting each of the new schools, the money-saving geothermal HVAC systems and the sustainable construction strategies employed in the bond program.
