Principal - Elizabeth Yoder

I moved to Fort Worth at the age of 10.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelors in communications and then received a certification in education. I also received a M.Ed at UTA. I taught fourth grade for 14 years at M. L. Phillips and J. T. Stevens.  In 2005, I became the Assistant Principal of Springdale Elementary and in 2009 I became the Principal of Western Hills Elementary. I am very excited to be here at Western Hills and look forward to working with the students, staff and families of the Western Hills community.

I enjoy showing my Shelties in conformation, herding, and agility trials.

Ms. Brown has a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Northwestern State University in Louisiana. She has over 40 hours in graduate work in Educational Administration from UTA.  Her teaching and work experience includes teaching grades 2, 3, and 4 at S. S. Dillow and Van Zandt Guinn Elementary Schools.  She is also a former Literacy Coach at Sunrise McMillian Elementary School.  Assistant Principal Brown has over 8 years experience in social services including working with the homeless, domestic violence victims, mental health, and in health education.  She is a licensed Master Social Worker.

Counselor - Rebecca Grimland 

Mrs. Grimland began working in FWISD in 1974.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas.  She served her first 3-years at Eastern Hills High School.  During that period she was assigned five schools which she worked one day a week at each one.  Mrs. Grimland interrupted her career for 14-years as a stay at home mom. 

Nurse - Pamela Coffield  

Mrs. Coffield provides a variety of medical services to WHE students which enhance their physical well-being and quality of life daily.
