Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is amazing that we have already gone through over 25% of the school year.  So far our students are off to a great start.  There are many ways you can help the school as parent as we approach the holiday season.  Some of these ways are:

  1. Help in ensuring each student is putting their coats and backpacks inside their lockers before first period.  This is being done to ensure your student’s safety in the classroom.  If you student does not have a locker then they can still get one by speaking with their first period teacher.
  2. Make sure your child comes to school on time in dress code.  Only white or blue tops and jackets are acceptable for wearing inside of classrooms.
  3. Encourage students to practice good hand washing skills to prevent the spread of the flu, and if your student is sick send a note to the attendance office to excuse it.

On another note, we are currently offering morning tutorials in Math and Science.  There is a morning tutoring bus picking up from the following elementary schools from Monday thru Thursday:

Wedgwood 6th              7:45 am
Westcreek                    7:51 am
Woodway                     7:58 am
Stevens                       8:04 am

We look forward to your children taking up this opportunity to seek extra help in Math and Science.  Attending tutoring could also greatly help your student’s grades in their classes as report cards will be coming out to parents for the second six weeks on December 2nd.  For more information call or come by the school.

Parents and Guardians we appreciate everything you do in preparing your students for a successful school day.  I wish each and everyone one of you a Happy Holiday Season!

 Thank you,

T.J. Jarchow
