CULINARY ARTS
The Culinary Arts program will train the next generation of culinary leaders, chefs, pastry chefs, restaurant owners and managers. Trimble Tech provides many opportunities to explore a variety of culinary careers that help students make realistic career choices that are satisfying and successful. Students experience a curriculum that is both rigorous and current to today’s job market. Students in this program will have the opportunity to work with experts in the field and earn culinary certifications upon graduation.

CERTIFICATIONS: CERTIFIED CULINARIAN, CULINARY SPECIALIST, AMERICAN CULINARY FEDERATION (ACF) - SECONDARY CULINARY GRADUATE

 

HEALTH SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY
The Health Science Technology program at Trimble Tech provides students with opportunities to explore a variety of health careers and make realistic career choices. Trimble Tech is the only health science program in the District that offers five different career certification opportunities for students in their senior year. These courses are taught by teachers with diverse and extensive healthcare industry experience. The benefits of working in healthcare include varied work schedules, life-long learning educational support, career mobility and portability of skills.

CERTIFICATIONS: CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT, EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT), PHARMACY TECHNICIAN, PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN, SPORTS MEDICINE TRAINING

 

WELDING FABRICATION & METAL ART
Students will learn the science behind and art of performing welding. Skills learned will include the four main welding processes. Students will learn the technical and practical use of metal fabrication in conjunction with welding. Continuing after the basics of welding and fabrication, students will be taken on an eye-opening journey into the world of metal art, where your art can take you as far as your imagination. Students will have the opportunity to be trained by certified staff in the classroom as well as outside in real-world experiences through the program’s relationship with community businesses.

CERTIFICATIONS: 3/8 OR 1" PLATE, AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY (AWS) 1-4F, AWS 1-4G, AWS 1-6G PIPE

Green B. Trimble Technical High School is a unique Fort Worth ISD high school that has no attendance boundaries. Beyond even its Gold Seal Programs of Choice, Trimble Tech combines a recognized academic program with 19 different career preparation pathways. With the Applied Learning methodology, students not only have the opportunity to expand their academic horizon but also learn a skill that will be in high demand as they leave high school.

FEATURES OF TRIMBLE TECH:

  • Teamwork not only in the academic setting, but also through partnerships with local businesses and community programs to promote community relations and real-world experiences
  • Ability to enroll in a rigorous academic program, which includes Advanced Placement courses and dual credit opportunities through Tarrant County College
  • Student involvement in a wide variety of extracurricular clubs and activities designed to nourish academic and personal interests, friendships and community service
