Principal - Joann Dickerson

Prior to Joann Dickerson’s appointment to I.M. Terrell Elementary School in 2006, she was the Assistant Principal at L. Clifford Davis Elementary,  Instructional Specialist at I.M. Terrell, kindergarten teacher at D McRae Elementary, and a teacher at A.M. Pate Elementary for fifteen years. As a native of Arkansas, and daughter to parents who stressed education, Joann learned at an early age the value of education and life long learning.  Ms. Dickerson first earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, a Master of Education Degree in Administration, from Texas Christian University. During her twenty – six years in education, Ms. Dickerson’ s passion for literacy and instructional leadership led to numerous experiences serving the educational community in staff development in the district and countywide.

 Vice Principal - Shajuanda Davis

Ms. Shajuanda Davis has worked in Fort Worth Independent School District for a total of seven years; four years as a teacher and three years as an assistant principal.  She currently shares two campuses as an assistant principal—I.M. Terrell Elementary and North Hi Mount Elementary.  Born and raised in the Mississippi, Ms. Davis was college educated at the University of Southern Mississippi where she received her BA and MS degrees.  She also furthered her education at Texas Christian University where she received her administration certification.  Her hobbies include reading, shopping, and traveling.  Her philosophy of learning is simply—all children can learn.

 Counselor - Camille Henderson

Camille Henderson has been an educator for over 11 years.  She has been an elementary school counselor for 7 years.  She has her BS degree in Early Childhood from Texas Christian University as well as a Master’s degree in Counseling from Texas Christian University.  She has written several grants to provide monies for the students at I.M. Terrell Elementary to support attendance.  She has been at I.M. Terrell Elementary her entire counseling career.

 Nurse - Juliet Knight, RN

Mrs. Juliet E. Knight has worked as a school nurse in Fort Worth Independent School District for a total of nine years.  Born and raised in the Caribbean Islands, Nurse Knight was college educated in the United States at Andrews University in Michigan.  She received her B.S. degree in Nursing, and an M.A. in Education and Developmental Psychology.  Prior to FWISD she worked in various nursing capacities in Illinois, Michigan, Washington, and Canada.  Mrs. Knight is married; she and husband are the proud parents of two adult children.  Her hobbies include reading, shopping, and travel.  In addition to maintaining a healthy student body at Briscoe Elementary School, Nurse Knight enjoys spreading good eating tips and strives to inspire a healthy living precept.
