Growing up as a child I traveled a lot and missed a lot of school because my parents showed miniature horses for a living. I never went to kindergarten and started 1st grade without knowing my ABC’s, so needless to say, school was a challenge for me all the way through high school. I graduated from Brenham Texas (Home of Blue Bell Ice-cream) in 2003, with a full ride scholarship to play football for the FROGS. During my time at TCU, I learned a lot of new information and a lot about myself. Because I was behind in high school, college was hard for me. I had to study more than most of my friends, and I had football 40-50 hours a week. During my five years of football I had four knee surgeries; I was behind all the time trying to play catch up. Because of the adversity of my surgeries and struggles through school I grew to the person I am today. When I graduated college I thought life would get easier, I was wrong. I could not find a teaching job, so went out to make money anyway I could. I held a babysitting job, Insurance adjuster for Hurricane Ike, home repairs, mowed lawns, valet cars, personal trainer, and personal driver. Then in September 2009 I had an interview with Dr. Mouton which changed my life. Before taking this job I thought I wanted to teach at the high school level and coach football. More and more everyday I’m glad that I’m at Sunrise McMillian Elementary. In the morning before school I personal train at River Crest Country Club, after school I go to Brandt Fitness and Self Defenses and personal train there in the afternoon. I also run boot camps in the Fort Worth area on Sundays and for cheerleading squads. I still have my DD Driving business that I do at night and on weekends. This summer I am getting married to the GREATEST woman ever Natalie Holovach on July 18th in Cozumel Mexico. |
