The New After School Program

Sunrise McMillan Elementary

 

Program
Qualification 

Sunrise-McMillan Elementary After School Program is a Free Academic and Enrichment Program. The program is designed for 3rd, 4th,
& 5
th grade students.  Students will be selected by academic needs and referrals from the school.  If space is available, 1st and 2nd graders with siblings admitted to the program will be given priority enrollment.  Our program operates Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and offers some Saturday events.

Exciting News!!!

Sunrise-McMillan has a new FWAS Program Coordinator, Ms. B. Turner. The Fort Worth After School is developing an exciting new program, with input from principals, students, teachers, and parents.

New Activities will include:

  • tutoring/homework
  • academic enrichment
  • fine arts
  • technology tools/skills
  • service learning
  • recreation/youth development

During the year, we will provide classes for students and also provide ESL, GED, technology, family literacy, and/or other programs for parents and adult family members.
