What: 2nd annual Back to School Fiesta presented by Hispano Exito
When: Saturday, August 18, 2012, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Wilkerson Greines Activity Center, 5201 C.A. Roberson, Fort Worth
Who: Superintendent Walter Dansby and Mayor Betsy Price will deliver opening remarks.
Summary: The 2nd annual Back to School Fiesta, presented by Hispano Exito, will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Fort Worth ISD’s Wilkerson Greines Activity Center. The Fiesta will provide a variety of services for students and their families as they prepare for the 2012-2013 school year.
Free school supplies will be available on a first come-first serve basis. Other activities are expected to include:
- Parent Portal sign-up kiosks
- Adult education materials
- Distribution of transportation information
- Fort Worth Library sign-up
- Health services providing information regarding immunizations
The Back to School Fiesta is a collaboration involving the Fort Worth ISD and Fellowship of the Parks.
