Congratulations to Rosemont Middle School teacher Patricia Clingan who was awarded the Pier 1 Imports Chair for Teaching Excellence in Acquisition of Language for the 2008-2009 school year. Mrs. Clingan had to undergo a rigorous selection process consisting of an extensive application, recommendations, an interview, and a teaching demonstration before receiving this high honor.

Mrs. Clingan earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Spanish from Texas Woman’s University. She has taught in the Fort Worth ISD for 26 years, and 25 of those years have been at Rosemont Middle School.

Rosemont Middle is very fortunate to have such an outstanding educator on its faculty.
