Elía De los Santos- Dual Language Teacher
Ms. De los Santos was born in San Fernando, Tamaulipas in Mexico. She went to Universidad Regiomontana in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, where she studied economics. De los Santos has been teaching for 15 years; she joined Fort Worth ISD in 2008. During her free time, she likes to read, make desserts and spend time with her family.
Concepción Contreras- Teacher Assistant
Ms. Contreras was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico. She studied accounting at Academia de Contabilidad in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila in Mexico. She also went to Tarrant County College to become a clerk. Contreras has been teaching since 2003, all of those in Fort Worth ISD. She likes making crafts, cooking and spending time with her family.
María Quimbay- Dual Language Teacher
Ms. Quimbay was born in Bogotá, Colombia. She received a bachelor's degree in modern languages from Javeriana University in Colombia and completed a master's degree in educational administrafion from the University of Melbourne in Australia. Quimbay has been teaching for thirteen years and joined Fort Worth ISD's family in 2008. Quimbay likes running, going to movies and traveling. She is the mother of 4-year-old twins boys, "who are the most marvelous thing that has happened to me," she said.
