Principal:  Antonio Martinez 

  North Side is proud to have Mr. Antonio Martinez continue to lead North Side’s “Stampede to New Frontiers.” Mr. Martinez has been in education for over 27 years with the majority of those years serving in an administrative role. Mr. Martinez is a native of Fort Worth and earned his Bachelor’s degree from TCU and Master’s Degree from Texas Woman’s University. Mr. Martinez not only believes that every child can learn, he believes in encouraging North Side students to continue their education after high school. Keeping busy is not hard for Mr. Martinez, if he is not at school he is enjoying playing golf, attending football games, staying fit and spending time with his kids.

North Side Assistant Principals: 

Valerie Bruce

 

 

A graduate and former teacher of North Side High School, North Side is excited to welcome back Mrs. Valerie Bruce as an Assistant Principal. Mrs. Bruce has a fond connection to the North Side Community and is very excited about “coming home”. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and continued her education at the UTA with a Master’s Degree in Education Administration. She taught a variety of sciences before becoming an administrator for FWISD. Outside of school, Mrs. Bruce enjoys doing “Martha Stewart hobbies” such as baking and sewing and hopes to one day complete a half Ironman Triathlon.

Arnulfo Martinez

 

Mr. Arnulfo Martinez is starting his 5th year as a North Side Assistant Principal. Mr. Martinez graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Plant Biology. He continued his education at the University of North Texas where he received a Master of Education degree. Mr. Martinez spent four years in the classroom teaching physics, chemistry and IPC before transferring into administration. When not at school Mr. Martinez enjoys running, listen to music and spending time with his family.

Precious Poullard

 

Mrs. Precious Poullard is starting her 4th year as a North Side Assistant Principal. She taught Biology in Louisiana and Texas before becoming an assistant principal 6 years ago. Mrs. Poullard graduated from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She received her Master’s degree in Education Administration from TCU and is currently working on her Doctorate from Jones University. Mrs. Poullard stays busy outside of school with her 2 very active children and a husband who is also a FWISD administrator. When (and if) she has some spare time, Mrs. Poullard enjoys to read, catch up on TV show and travel. She is a firm believer that being a mother is what pushed her into the world of education.

 David Trimble

 

David Trimble is one of North Side’s new Assistant principals. While he might be new to North Side, he is not new to education or administration. Mr. Trimble has been in education for over 15 years. He has taught English and PE and coached boy’s basketball and girl’s volleyball. Mr. Trimble was born in Fort Worth and received a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from the University of Texas-Arlington and is currently working on is Doctoral Degree. While not at school, he is spending time with his family.
