North Hi Mount History Fair

This year's fair theme is "Innovation in History".  We will hold our History Fair judging on November 3, 2009.  We will then send our 1st place winners to the District History Fair on November 5th.

Public viewing of projects at the District Fair will be on November 5th, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  The awards ceremony will follow from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Our fifth grade class did an excellent job on history fair this year.  They researched a variety of innovations.  These innovations included the cell phone, the wheel, music, the telescope, batteries and more. 

They did such a great job it was a tough decision.  Our third place winner was "The Way of Turning".  Our second place winner was "Shoot Out to the Stars".  Our first place winner was "History of Batteries."  Congratulations to all of our winners.

Our first place winner competed in the Fort Worth ISD History Fair on Thursday, November 5th.  Thank you to all the participants of this year's history fair.  A big thank you to Mrs. Daniels, our 5th grade History teacher, and coordinator for this year's event.
