September 3, 2010 the Prek through 2nd graders were treated to a presentation by
Alice Barrientez from the Guidance and Counseling department.
She is our Native American Education leader.  She spoke with the children about the 4 learning tools
we all have:  hearing, seeing, touching and smelling.  The children heard, saw, touched and smelled many authentic items she brought with her.  Check out our photo gallery!  She was wonderful and the children are still talking about what they learned from her visit!  We even learned that we have two teachers on campus who are part Native American!!
