parents and guardians
will have the opportunity to learn information about preparing themselves and their children for college during the 2012 Parent University sponsored by Target. Parents of children in any grade level are welcome to attend. 

The event will be held Saturday, March 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at O.D. Wyatt High School, 2400 East Seminary.

There will be a wide range of sessions in both English and Spanish including:

Parenting technology

Health and fitness

Helping your child with math, literacy and science at home

Bullying

End of course information

What to know about emergency preparedness

College readiness

Free breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as free transportation from each high school.

Door prizes will also be given away, and parents and guardians attending will receive a certificate of completion.
