Principal - Melissa Bryan
Melissa Bryan is proud to be a native of Fort Worth and a product of the Fort Worth ISD. She graduated from Arlington Heights High School and went on to pursue Early Childhood Education studies at Auburn University. After completing her student teaching in Perth, Australia, she taught at Benbrook Elementary for seven years. She continued her studies in Educational Administration at the University of Texas at Arlington. She served for three years as the Assistant Principal at Sam Rosen Elementary before coming to Luella Merrett Elementary in 2006. Mrs. Bryan and her husband, Robert, are the parents of two lovable yellow Labradors named Aubie and Herbie. Both dogs are registered therapy dogs with the Delta Society and love coming to school with mom to help children with academics and behavior. Mrs. Bryan's hobbies include cooking, watching sports – especially college football or hockey, and spending time with her family. |
