Hello all! My name is Evelyn Arbaiza, and this is my second year teaching as an Orchestra director. I am currently residing near Fort Worth, but I am originally from Houston, TX. I graduated from the University of North Texas, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor's in Music Education. My primary instrument is the violin. Cobbs, Stefan - Counselor 7th and 8th Grade
Stefan Cobbs was born in Dallas, Texas. He received his Bachelor’s of Art degree from Texas A&M University. Mr. Cobbs began his career in education as a 6th grade Social Studies teacher in Dallas Independent School District. He later worked as a prevention educator which served students in high-risk educational facilities. Mr. Cobbs’ work experience in these programs led him to see the need for developing the social and emotional development of today’s youth. Subsequently, he pursued and obtained a Masters degree in counseling. Mr. Cobbs career as School Counselor begin in Fort Worth Independent School District at Dunbar High School. He also served as a counselor at Polytechnic High School. This will be Mr. Cobbs first year at McClung Middle where he will continue to promote a positive atmosphere for the social, emotional, and academic development of students.

She has devoted 11 years to serving children and families in a public school setting. Her goal is to remove any health barriers that might interfere with learning and a vision to make a difference in the lives of "OUR" children “..Leaving no child left behind." |

I graduated with a degree in Communications with an emphasis in Radio and Television, as well as my teaching certification. No other job fit me as well as becoming a teacher; I have 5 years of teaching experience and love every aspect of it. When I was in school my favorite subject was English, so it is a joy to share with my students a passion of mine. This year my goal is to keep an open line of communication with all of our parents, because I believe that “it take a village to raise a child”.

Hi, my name is Sarah Foley. I am teaching 7th grade ELAR and Math this year. I was born in Dallas, Texas and have lived in the DFW metroplex my entire life. I graduated from Texas Woman’s University in Denton with a degree in Child Development. I truly believe that every child has something to offer to make this world, and our classrooms, a better place. I am excited about the work our fantastic staff at McClung will do for our youth this year, and for many years to come. It is my pleasure to work with y(our) children and help them not only succeed in their academics, but also establish a sense of value and pride about themselves. Foster, Cheryl - Intervention Specialist
Mrs. Foster is a native of Wisconsin. Mrs. Foster is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her M.S. in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has been practicing in the field of human services/mental health for 23 years. Her mission at McClung Middle School is address the social, emotional and behavioral needs of students while nurturing their unique individual talents.
Mrs. Foster enjoys reading, cooking, sports and travel. She and her husband have been richly blessed with three beautiful children. |

Mrs. Galambu is a determined person who strives to inspire her students to meet their goals and aim high. She holds an Applied Science degree in Computer Information System, a Bachelor degree in English Language & Literature, and a Masters degree in Curriculum & Technology. Currently, she is working towards her Master Reading Teacher Certification. Her first teaching career started over 25 years ago at Secondary Education in Kuwait for a few years. Then she worked as a computer technical support before she came back to the teaching field seven years ago as an English Language Arts & Reading teacher. She is excited to work with the students towards shaping and reaching their dreams. She has a supportive husband. Mrs. Goings, formerly teaching the Leonard 6th Grade band on Fort Worth's west side, is the band director at McClung Middle School. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas where she was Head Drum Major. Her primary instruments are Trumpet and Piano with a passion for conducting. She currently performs weekly with the Southcliff Baptist Church Orchestra. Mrs. Going is married to Todd Goings and has four children; Cayla, Laurel, Taylor and Jayden. Her Maltese dog, "Rip", rounds out the family.

I am the Educational Diagnostician here at Jean McClung. I earned Bachelor degrees in Special Education and Communications-Journalism from Utah State University in Logan Utah. I went on to receive my Masters degree in Education Diagnostics from Texas Women University in Denton Texas.

My name is Suzanna Ordoñez. I am the Spanish and Exploratory Language teacher at Jean McClung Middle School. This is an exciting time for me, as I begin my second year as a teacher, after doing social services for 21 years with the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth. I have been married to Rafael Ordoñez for 19 years. Rafael and I are both products of the Fort Worth Independent School District. We have three children, Geovanie, a senior in high school, Brianna, a 8th grader and Adrian, a 3rd grader. I hold a bachelor’s degree for the University of Texas at Arlington and I am currently working on a Master’s Degree in Mental Health and Direct Practice with Children and Families. Ms. Owolo is a native of Rockwall, Texas. After many years working in politics in Washington D.C., she decided to focus on working with children. Her previous work experiences include working with Congresswoman Laura Richardson, Congressman Tim Bishop, the Congressional Young Leaders Conference, the Texas American Federation of Teachers, and the Monster Diversity Leadership Conference. She is currently a Fort Worth Teaching Fellow and has been trained through The New Teaching Project Academy. Joseph Ray earned his B.A. in Organizational Communication from UT-Arlington in December, 2009. He earned his Texas Teachers Alternative Certification as 4-8 Generalist in July, 2010. The 4-8 Generalist designation indicates his high qualification in the areas of Science, Math, Social Studies, English and Language/Reading. Mr. Ray anticipates earning his Masters Degree in Educational Administration in 2013 as well as his Principal Certification. Joseph Ray is the founder and President of N Front of Science, Incorporated. He is a member of the Arlington/Grand Prairie Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and is the financial director of the Kappa League program. Mr. Ray is a mentor in the U-Teach program for inspiring teachers, is active with UTA Mentor Program and with the UTA Volunteer Program. He participated in the Emmitt J. In 2008 we found our "forever home" in Saginaw, Tx. We are all huge animal lovers so our pets consist of dogs, a cat, a parrot, hermit crabs, fish and a ball python. It has been a privilege to work for Fort Worth ISD since 2008 but it is now an honor to become a part of the Jean McClung family and serve our community.
