Congratulations LMS International Baccalaureate Ambassadors!

Congratulations to Cristian Romero, Sean Taylor, Jaylen Smith, Joshua Figuero , Michelle Ward, Luz Peralta and Mrs. Van Eaton for their winning idea – an IB Parent Academy to be held in the fall of 2013.  The students will use the $500 prize to develop a media presentation to explain to parents the International Baccalaureate programme.  Once their project is complete, there will be three Wednesday presentation dates for LMS parents to attend, from 12:00 to 1:00.  The first 20 parents who make reservations for each session will also receive lunch.

“Winning Ideas:  A Student Centered Family Engagement Project" is sponsored by Target through the FWISD Parent and Public Engagement Department.  Its goal is to promote parental engagement through the eyes of the student.  Be on the lookout for the flyers this fall and sign up to attend one of the Wednesday presentations!
