Principal Jason Oliver

I did my bachelors at TCU and my masters at UT Arlington. favorite car 57 corvette. Played basketball, track, and golf. In college, I played lacrosse. I'm currently an avid golf player. Mr. Oliver taught for three years, then assumed vice-principal duties at the Masonic Home for two years, and Dunbar Middle for four years. At the early age of eight, he had a strong desire to become a principal. But at 14, with his father at war, the experience of getting into pretty serious difficulty resulting in suspension inspred his principal to act as surrogate father to him. That solidified Mr. Oliver's decision to become a principal

Vice Principal Chelsea Allison

I am excited to be a part of the M.L. Kirkpatrick Middle School family…where every child is known, valued and inspired. This year will be my 9th year in education and my first year as an assistant principal. At the beginning of my career in education I taught one year of elementary art and one year of middle school art in the Birdville ISD. After a brief absence from teaching, I returned to the classroom to teach middle school art and yearbook at Rosemont Middle School in the Fort Worth ISD, where I stayed for 4 years.  In 2006, I began my first of two years working as the Instructional Specialist at Eastern Hills High School.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art Studies from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook’em Horns!), and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University. Currently I am working towards the completion of my Ph.D. in Art Education at the University of North Texas. I passionately believe in being a life-long learner and hope that my experiences and continued education will show my students that learning is fun and exciting.

When not at school (or in school) I can most often be found hanging out with my three beautiful boys! Other favorite pastimes include reading, scrapbooking, and when I can, making art!
