Alethea Lester was voted Teacher Assistant of the Year for Jo Kelly School for the 2010-2011 school year by her peers.  She has been an assistant at Jo Kelly for 10 years.  She is very dedicated to the education and care of the students here at Jo Kelly School.

Before she came to Jo Kelly Alethea worked at a daycare center with 15 children 2 years of age.  While working at Jo Kelly, she has become a certified medical assistant as well as a liscenced massage therapist.  Her massage therapy training has broadened her knowledge of anatomy, range of motion exercises, and positioning of the students.  She enjoys seeing that the students' goals are being met.  It's all about the students Alethea says, "They brighten my day."  She also says that she appreciates the staff and that everyone does a great job with the children.
