Fort Worth ISD Schools

Mrs. Plata graduated from UNT with a degree in early childhood and from Texas Women’s University with a Masters of Education. She has served the Fort Worth ISD as teacher, bilingual specialist, early childhood specialist and instructional team member for the last thirteen years. She loves all children and enjoys reading and writing in her spare time.

Vice Principal- Cheri Walker

Cheri Walker earned her Bachelor of Science degree in All-level Physical Education and Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from Texas Christian University. She has been an educator in the Fort Worth Independent School District for 14 years, serving as a Physical Education teacher and coach at both the elementary and middle school levels. She has been an Assistant Principal for the past seven years.

She has many interests outside of school that include her husband, children, animals, reading, and endurance sports. She enjoys learning new things that challenge her both professionally and personally
