Natha Howell's First Grade Class Selected to Demostrate Use of Promethean Board

Mrs. Oliver's first grade class was filmed in May, using the new Promethean Board in the classroom. Approximately ten teachers were selected from the Fort Worth ISD who demonstrated outstanding skills in the use of the new interactive white boards with their classes. The film was shown at the annual Technology Conference on May 16 and then again at the all district school convocation on August 18. Natha Howell currently has 17 of the Promethean boards in various classrooms including Kindergarten through 5th grades and in the music room. Our students are already benefitting from this technology tool new to the Fort Worth ISD beginning last fall. By December 2009, all classrooms will have an interactive board!
