Principal: Cassandra Morris-Surles, ED. D.

Welcome to Glen Park Elementary, where our motto is "Be The Best You Can Be".  This is the message that we teach our students.  We have high expectations and believe that they will excel beyond their fullest potential.  The central purpose of Glen Park Elementary School is to meet the educational, personal, and social developmental needs of our students.  This philosophy provides them with opportunities to meet their needs, develop new interests, and capitalize on their talents.  The determination from our dedicated team of teachers and administrators have encouraged all students to achieve high academic success and to continually strive to be the best they can be.

Assistant Principal: Elizabeth R. Gonzales

I have been a Fort Worth ISD employee for 25 years and it is my pleasure to come to Glen Park and serve the students, teachers, and parents of this community. I first served as a Bilingual teacher at Washington Heights Elementary in the north side of Fort Worth. During these years, I went to Texas Christian University and earned my Masters in Education and Certification in Administration. I have been an administrator for 18 years serving the schools of Manuel Jara Elementary, Richard Wilson Elementary, Rufino Mendoza Elementary, and H.V. Helbing Elementary. My teaching experiences began in Austin, Texas when I graduated from St. Edwards University. I have taught in Austin, Texas; Ankara, Turkey; and in Fort Worth, Texas. My family consists of my husband of 35 years, two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren. Again, I am very happy to be here at Glen Park: A great school to work and learn in.

Counselor: Patrice Robinson

I enjoy serving as one of the counselors at Glen Park Elementary.  Education was paramount in our household.  After completing my undergraduate degree from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and a Master’s degree at Atlanta University, I embarked on a 17 year career in the corporate world. Although I enjoyed my work experiences, I had a passion for educating and motivating young people.  Therefore, I decided to enter the field of education.  I worked in the classroom as a 5th grade teacher for several years.  Later, I received my counseling credentials at Texas Woman’s University.  I appreciate my role as counselor and consider it a privilege to work with the world’s greatest resource, children.
