The Fort Worth ISD is offering free summer tutorials for any student who failed to meet the standard on one or more of the new End Of Course (EOC) exams.  

The free classes will run from June 19 through July 5, 2012, Monday through Thursday. There will be two class periods per day. The first period will run from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The second period begins at 10:10 a.m. and will conclude at 12:40 p.m. 

Registration is set for Friday, June 15, 2012 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Southwest High School, 4100 Altamesa Blvd.   

The STAAR EOC tests will be administered July 9 through July 13.  Specific dates are:

• Monday, July 9, 2012 – STAAR English I Writing EOC
• Tuesday, July 10, 2012 – STAAR English I Reading EOC
• Wednesday, July 11, 2012 – STAAR English II Writing EOC
• Thursday, July 12, 2012 – STAAR English II Reading EOC 

Students should check with their home high school for the specific date for each math, science, and social studies test during the week of July 9 through July 13.
