New Principal Appointed 
 
 
 

The Fort Worth ISD Board of Education appointed a new principal for Paul Laurence Dunbar High School on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. 

Mr. Carlos Walker began his career with the Fort Worth ISD as a substitute teacher in 2002. He has been a secondary teacher, coach, assistant principal and principal. His most recent assignment has been as principal at Morningside Middle School.

Mr. Walker earned a B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Masters of Education from the University of North Texas and anticipates completing his doctoral requirements in 2014.

He is a graduate of O.D. Wyatt High School, and attended Mitchell Boulevard and Glen Park elementary schools as well as Morningside Middle School.
