6th Grade Whiz Quiz District Runner-Up 
 
 
   

The 6th Grade Whiz Quiz Team made it to the semi-final round as the Area 1, Zone 2 winners! They faced Dunbar 6th Grade in the first round in the FWISD board room Monday evening. The Dragons won their first round game and advanced to the finals.

The Dragons faced a tough challenge from the McLean 6th Grade Bluejays. The Dragons led at halftime but were unable to hold the lead. They finished in second place.

Congratulations to the DMS 6th Grade Whiz Quiz Team on their fine season!

Team members are: Grace Anderson, Hunter Baldwin, Abdullah Khawajah, Charlie Nesser, Levi Norris, Maia Pfeifer, Thomas Ryu, and Kendra Young. Whiz Quiz sponsor is Ms. Christine Combs-Moore.
