Contreras' Learning in Natural Communities Program

  Learning in Natural Communities (LINC) is a program that is designed and committed to empowering students to progress to their highest level of independence. All decisions regarding curriculum and instruction should be made in conjunction with the ARD committee according to this philosophy.

 LINC provides an educational setting along a continuum of services for students who require a self-contained setting and training in functional life skills. Placement in LINC is determined by an ARD committee when a student had demonstrated an inability to be successful in a less restrictive placement.
