Lo que estamos estudiando ahora:
La lectura Hemos estado leyendo dos superlibros Mariza en la Escuela y Muchos Papas. Nos hemos estado concentrando en saber como son las cosas iguales y como diferentes, asi como en el tema principal.
Las matemáticas Hemos estado repasando los números del 1 al 12 asi como aprendiendo como ordenar y comparar números.
El lenguaje Primeramente hemos repasado las letras del abecedario. Hemos repasado lo que son las vocales y aprendido las consonantes. Hemos estado aprendiendo lo que son los sustantivos y los verbos en adicion a como separar las palabras en silabas. Asimismo hemos aprendido muchas combinaciones de consonantes y vocales.
Las ciencias Nos hemos adentrado en el vocabulario básico de introducción a las ciencias. Hemos analizado como estar protegidos cuando trabajamos en un laboratorio de ciencias. Estamos iniciando nuestros estudios sobre la organización y división de los seres vivos.
Los estudios sociales Nos hemos adentrado en el vocabulario básico de la introducción a los estudios sociales. Hemos analizado cuales son las características de los buenos ciudadanos.
El salud Hemos analizado que debemos de comer para estar saludables y no tener que acudir al medico. Hemos platicado y comentado sobre la importancia de hacer ejercicio seguido para mantenernos saludables.
Las tareas de la casa: La tarea de ortografía que los estudiantes tienen que hacer es enviada en un solo papel los lunes , en ella se especifican que palabras tienen que aprender y lo que tienen que hacer con ellas cada dia de la semana. Para matemàticas llevan siempre una asignación en su libreta roja. Es importante que los padres revisen que los hijos estén haciendo la tarea diariamente y que adicionalmente lean y lo registren en el papel de registro que se encuentra en la carpeta roja.
Los eventos y noticias importantes: El grupo de Ms. Manzanera ha resultado ser muy bien portado y con muchas ganas de aprender. Llevamos únicamente tres semanas de clases y llevamos muchos logros ya obtenidos.

What we are studying now:
Reading : We have been reading two Big Books which are Mariza en la Escuela y Muchos Papas. We have been concentrating on learning which things are the same and which things are different, as well as on the main idea.
Mathematics: We have been reviewing the numbers from 1 to 12 and learning how to order and compare numbers.
Language : First of all we have reviewed the letters. We have reviewed the vocals and learned the consonant sounds. We have been learning what the nouns are and the verbs in addition to learning how to separate the words in syllables. We have also been learning how to make combinations with vocals and consonants.
Science: We have been learning the basic vocabulary needed for the introduction to Science. We have analyzed how to be protected when we work in a science laboratory. We have started our studies regarding the organization and division of living things.
Social Studies: We have been working on the basic vocabulary needed for the introduction to Social Studies. We have analyzed which are the characteristics of good citizens.
Health: We have been analyzing what do we have to eat to be healthy and not having to see the doctor often. We have talked and reviewed about the importance of exercising often to be able to keep ourselves healthy.
Homework: The Spelling homework that the students have to finish is sent on a paper every Monday. In this paper it is specified what they have to do every day of the week . Every Friday the students have an exam on such words so it is extremely important that they do their homework every single day. For Math the students always take an assignment in their red folder. It is important that the parents check their students work. It is also necessary that the students read every day and that their parents mark that on the Reading Log the students have in their red folder.
Important news and events: Ms. Manzanera’s class has been working hard and have been behaving extremely well showing their interest in learning. We have been in school only for three weeks and we have already fulfilled some goals.
