This year your child will be participating in a music class designed to foster an appreciation of music.  Your child will develop musical skills and understanding, as well as use music from various places around the world.  The music curriculum links concepts across the curriculum.  Your child will have the opportunity to participate in theme-based music making with possible themes such as: American music, world music, friends, families, self-esteem, animals, ecology, storytelling, choral singing, seasons, and celebrations.
