2012 Annual Legacy Park Boat Regatta

Harlean Beal fourth and fifth grade students participated in the annual River Legacy Park Cardboard Boat Regatta held at Hurricane Harbor on April 28, 2012.
 
Student participation was sponsored by the Clayton Yes! After School Program.  It was Harlean Beal’s first time participating in the event.
 
Beal students were challenged with the task of building a boat out of cardboard that would passenger 6 students with a total weight of 650 pounds.
